Hi I’m Abby, the designer and maker behind ABIKIKAI.
My love for clothing has always lived somewhere between the way a piece looks and the way it makes you feel. I’m drawn to beautiful fabrics, thoughtful details and silhouettes that feel special without becoming difficult to wear.
With a background in garment technology and pattern design, I design each ABIKIKAI piece from the beginning — developing the idea, drafting the pattern, testing the fit and refining the details until it feels right.
ABIKIKAI began as a space for me to create pieces that felt harder to find elsewhere: feminine without feeling overly sweet, distinctive without being unwearable and designed to stay in your wardrobe beyond a single season.
The name ABIKIKAI comes from my nickname my mother used for me when I was younger, making the brand personal from the very beginning. That sense of sentiment runs through everything I create — clothing designed to be worn, loved and made your own.
Rather than following a constant cycle of newness, ABIKIKAI unfolds through small, considered drops and one-of-a-kind pieces, allowing room for experimentation, beautiful fabrics and the details that make each design feel individual.
